Welcome
Childcare in the Community is a registered charity providing childcare services in the Hamilton and Blantyre areas and is overseen by a voluntary management committee.
We provide a safe and stimulating childcare environment with a wide range of activities for children aged 6 weeks to 16 years in our Nursery, Mobile Creche and Out of School Care services.
Our Main Office and Nursery are based in Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre.
Our Out of School Care services are based in Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre and Burnbank Family Centre.
In August 2010 Childcare in the Community gained partnership with South Lanarkshire Council to provide pre-school education for 3-5 years.
Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre
The schools serviced from our base at Whitehill are Beckford Primary and St. Paul's Primary.
Our Main Office is also located here and we are open from 8.00am till 6.00pm for any enquiries.
TRAINING CENTRE:
We deliver Childcare Qualifications for Support Workers, Practitioners and Managers
Burnbank Family Centre, 2 Donaldson Street, Burnbank
The schools serviced from our base in Burnbank are; Udston Primary, Townhill Primary, St Ninian's Primary, St Mark's Primary, St Peter's Primary, St Mary's Primary, Glenlee Primary and St. Cuthbert's Primary.
Burnbank is the largest of our Out of School Care services and this is where we hold our in-service days and holiday clubs.
Mobile Creche Provision
We provide mobile creches for various groups in South and North Lanarkshire which can be booked by either 'phoning our Main Office on 01698 476586 or emailing childcareinthecommunity@btconnect.com
